Miles Nowak is an attorney in the Denver office of Feldmann Nagel Cantafio & Song PLLC. His Oil and Gas practice focuses on commercial transactions and litigations, state and federal compliance, real property and deeds, contract and mineral lease review, royalty disputes, offers to buy and sell, and actions before the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (COGCC).
Miles attended law school at the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law. He holds professional certificates in both Corporate and Commercial Law and International Law from Sturm College of Law. During his time in law school, Miles also served as an Oil and Gas Law Clerk at Feldmann Nagel Cantafio & Song. Miles was presented with Scholastic Excellence Awards and Honors in the following courses during law school: Securities Law, Corporate Drafting, Commercial Law, Legal Analysis, and International Criminal Law.
Miles’ passion for Oil and Gas Law stems from family ties in the business and governmental compliance sectors in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Alaska. Such involvements include a robust knowledge of and interactions with landmen, operating, leasing, and toxic spill cleanup. Before heading west to Denver, Miles lived in both San Antonio and Dallas, Texas, where he attended high school and college, respectively. Miles received his undergraduate education at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
Outside of work, Miles enjoys spending time hiking and skiing in the great outdoors of Colorado, as well as networking with industry leaders at the Denver Petroleum Club and Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation. Miles is also a member of the Colorado Cattlemen’s Association and the Texas Oil & Gas Association.
